It is a great problem for the parents to provide Quran or Islamic education to their kids in the western world. They either can’t hire the Quran teachers or they don’t have any tajweed teacher available close to their houses so they don’t make their children Quran literate. Keeping in view all these problems, we have established an online Islamic education system named as Learning Quran Online121 . It gives Quranic education to the people where this facility is not available. Our aim is to make our students learn tajweed (Recitation of the Holy Quran with correct pronounciation and accent) and other Islamic knowledge to introduce & promote the Islamic civilization.

How fortunate we are as Muslims that Allah has sent His word to us in the form of Quran and has taken the responsibility Himself for its protection. Quran, a map, a guideline for us to spend our lives accordingly, “Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur’an and indeed, We will be its guardian.”[1]
So, it would be entirely our fault, if we fail to go through it and spend our lives like non believers and end up failing the ultimate test of our lives; to please Allah!
And there is another among them who says: “Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter and save us from the punishment of Fire.” [2]
According to this verse of Quran, we should always ask Allah for the good of both worlds; in life and hereafter. But this is only possible if we are fully conversant with Quran. We not only know how to read and recite it properly but also know its meaning as well. It is interesting to note that even native Arabic need to learn to read and recite the Quran properly.
Or add to it, and recite the Qur’an with measured recitation. [3]
As Muslims, most of us have fortunately learnt to read and recite Quran, but the question is; is it really the correct way to recite Quran? Are you following all rules of tajweed? Are you aware of all makharij? What if you are not?
Unfortunately, in today’s fast paced life, we rarely get the time to get help from a learned teacher to learn tajweed, no matter how much we want to improve our recitation. Sometimes, our natural shyness becomes a hurdle and other times non availability of an Ustad.
